Eragon (Inheritance, Book 1) - Christopher Paolini( (book revirew)

Okay my life is officially hectic at this moment so reading for pleasure is not something I can do as freely and much as I want to... This is a shame but that is life. but now here are another book review and I have read this book before but only in my native language Swedish but now I read it in english so this review is about the English book.

Story
Fifteen-year-old Eragon believes that he is merely a poor farm boy—until his destiny as a Dragon Rider is revealed. Gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

My Thoughts
I must say that I really enjoyed reading this book in the original language now years after I read it in Swedish.  When I read it the first time i was younger and liked it and this is a book for Young adults written by a 15 year old with hopes and dreams. This makes the book different from other fantasy books. I know a lot of people would say this is not the class of Lord of the Rings and David Eddings works and that is true but this book has never tried to be that either. The way it is written is very well with a good language that is perfect for the taget audience. The storyline is not straight and boring, it is dynamic with a lot of things going on and we get to learn a lot about what happened before our story took place.

When you read fantasy you have to learn that it is a lot of the same in a lot of books and if you dont follow the rules you will get disliked. I as a reader dont give a crap about all this and I dont give a book a bad review because that is what is expected. I know a lot of fantasy lover hates this book and see it as childish. I dont. The story is very interesting and there are things happening with calmer episodes. I like the mix between naive young Eragon and his older teacher and how they learn and try to chance the world and themselves. Eragon is Naive but he is 16 and his life has turned up side down. I think he deals with that better than most people do when things chance.

The story is so well written and you can see that it leads somewhere and somethimes you question thing and decision and sometimes you laugh and sometimes you just hate what is happening and I myself cry in parts of thid book and feel discusted but that is what I want from a book and thinking about that a 15 year old wrote it, makes it even more awesome.  I really liked this book and the entire story and the world. some young adult fantays is far from this awesome and sure it dont have the edges and the things that the more adult fantasy writers have, this is still awesome and I will not comapre a young adult fantasy book with for examples Lord of the Rings. I give my 5 start to this book because I can place it where it belongs and comapre it to other young adult fantasy books.

I can really recomment Eragon and I cant wait to start the second book in the series.
