I love reviewing and testing new things and mostly I get e-books and it is nothing wrong with that, I in fact love it. One day an author approcherad me and asked if I wanted to review her cookbook and I said yes, I got it as e-book and as a print book! Thank you very much Stephanie Shaw for that. I must say It took me a while to do a proper review because I wanted to try all recipe in the book or almost all of them, before leaving an review which I did. Here is the review and it is already up on goodreads and amazon and have been for a while ;)

In this book, I provide you with information, about the health benefits and nutrients of the ingredients used in the recipes, infomation that has been demonstrated in studies. It is not only a collection of recipes. Knowing the benefits of the ingredients will enable you to adapt the recipes to your needs and taste.

My Thoughts

I love how this Soup Recipe book is build up and how it has different categories. it made it a lot easier to navigate and to find what you need and are after.

The recipes are good, easy to make and understand and the description is perfect and even people who isnt used to cook can follow and have great results. I loved this book from the first try and after have an emergency surgery and being on a special diet this book really helped me out with good, healthy soups I could eat. I served some soups to my soon-to-be husband and his younger sisters and all have loved them.

The variation of recipes are really great, there is so much to choose from so you can have different flavours during different days and you dont get bored of them. Some are favourites here and are done more often then others and will continue to be. I see a great use for this book and will continue to use it, almost every day.

So this book is great but it also has its problem, or maybe it is just a problem for me and people who do not live in western countries. I live in eastern Europe and not in a big city which made some ingredients impossible to get or to expensive to get. I did use similar ingredients in my cooking and it turned out well. But it also shows that this book is best suited for people in America (US-Canada), Western part of Europe, Australia-New Zeeland and some Asian countries. if you live in other countries and not in big cities you will have trouble finding the right ingredients and if you find them they can be expensive. Exchanging vegetables works well so that is an option if you cant find any.
Over all, a very great cookbook and I love it so much. This is a must if you want easy to make, health soups that tastes amazing.
